Sat. Aug 29th 2009 I thought u should know there is a deaf firefighter at Station 23. His name is Steven Schrader. He retired after 30 years with the fire department in Atlanta and as a paramedic. I just read his book. 'Silent Alarm; On the edge with a Deaf EMT.' I found it in the firehouse magazine. The man is amazing. I hope someone go find out more about him. - Christy
